A recent report showed that 7.3 million Americans or approximately 3.2% of the U.S. population have taken up a Vegetarian diet, of which 1% are strictly Vegans, who eat no animal products including fish, diary and eggs and while this dietary menu is not cheap, Vegans can now dine in Las Vegas.
Rumors have surfaced that gaming giant Steve Wynn has become a Vegan and prompted the latest menu transitions at Wynn Resorts and Encore Las Vegas.
All of the restaurants at Wynn’s Las Vegas casino properties are now offering menu items that cater to the Vegan trend.
“Obviously, this lends itself in a positive way to Wynn’s legacy as a trendsetter in the culinary field in Vegas,” commented E.C. Gladstone a Vegas food critic.
David Snyder, executive chef of Wynn’s eateries said that Vegetarian dishes have always been available at Wynn Resorts by special request, however now these items are “little more in-your-face” and in the menus.
