Governor Chris Christie maybe looking to turn Atlantic City casinos into a family friendly destination, but the Trump Taj Mahal is shaking things up a bit.
The New Jersey Casino Control Commission is currently reviewing an application from Starlight Events LLC, the biggest name in the strip club business, to bring an upscale gentlemen’s club to the Trump Taj Mahal Resort.
Modeled after the famous Manhattan club, Scores Atlantic City will provide “upscale entertainment” while dancers will perform in various stages of undress from evening wear to underwear, according to the application.
Trump Entertainment Resorts says that they are still negotiating the terms of the lease contract that will be finalized only after Starlight Events receives approval from regulators.
Starlight says they can renovate the former Stage Deli in approximately six months at a cost of nearly $3 million.
If granted approval by regulators, Scores Atlantic City will be the first strip club to open at an Atlantic City casino.
