MGM Resorts International appears to be in the hot seat this week, after an incident on August 20 indicated that Michael Jordan’s underage son was shelling out thousands at a Las Vegas nightclub.
Marcus Jordan age 19 was reported to have twittered about his Sin City escapades with brother Jeffery age 21.
“Last night was stupid..35k at Haze…Totals 50k something the whole day .. Damn!!” the controversial tweeter feed read.
Michael Jordan was in town hosting a fantasy basketball camp at the Mirage when the incident allegedly occurred.
Haze is an upscale nightclub at the Aria Resort and Casino at MGM’s CityCenter complex and is the reason that both MGM Resorts International and Nevada gaming regulators are investing the incident.
A spokesman for MGM said that the matter was being reviewed to determine “where the system broke down.”
Randall Sayre with the Gaming Control Board said that MGM reported the incident and was expected to provide a full report within two weeks.
