Isle of Capri Casinos has announced that board member John Brackenbury, 72, will be retiring from his position as Board member and committee member.
Brackenbury has been a member of Isle of Capri Casinos Board of Directors and stock option and compensation committee member since joining the gaming firm in January 2004.
Brackenbury was appointed to Isle’s board when they began developing casino operations in the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, England. Isle completed the sale of the Coventry casino in April 2009 after determining that they would exit the international market to focus on improving its domestic properties in the U.S. The Coventry casino was sold for approximately US$940,000 to The Rank Group PLC.
According to the recent regulatory filing Brackenbury has informed Isle that he will not stand up for a re-election vote at the company’s annual stockholders meeting on October 5, effectively ending his six year relationship with the gaming firm.
