The newest casino resort preparing to open on the famous Las Vegas strip in just four short months has begun stocking its gaming floor.
With a scheduled opening of December 15, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas said that they will spend another $890 million readying the resort and casino for its grand opening event. The new owners, Deutsche Bank has earmarked approximately $625 million to finish construction on the 4,000 room hotel and another $265 million on gaming equipment, furniture and fixtures.
In fact just this week the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas ordered 102 custom-built gaming tables from Gaming Partners International Corporation (GPI). GPI has received purchase orders for blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat games that the casino will use on its gaming floor, high limit room and gaming pits around the pool area.
The tables will be individually hand crafted to blend with the casinos upscale aesthetic décor.
GPI has also been selected to provide the casino with more than 460,000 gaming chips from the Paulson chip and Bud Jones chip lines.
